第2届世界SALSA舞大奖赛“中国区预选赛”八月即将隆重开幕

那么我们强烈建议你走出办公室，走出家门，来感受一下这种风靡世界的南美激情。作为拉丁舞的一种，Salsa已不再是个陌生的名词。它的创始发源地是古巴, 吸取了多种拉丁舞以及非洲和加勒比舞风的精华。其中每一种舞风都在Salsa 的形成发展过程中起到了很大的作用. 目前，这项具有异域文化色彩的新时尚运动，正以惊人的速度席卷全球，是世界上最POP、最流行的运动舞蹈。它时尚，高雅，性感，风情且极具煽动性，已经成为倍受好莱坞青睐的激情运动，更是众多拉丁美女的塑型秘笈、辣妹们的速成法宝，也令众多明星趋之若骛。

如今，充满神奇魔力的SALSA来到中国，在北京、上海，深圳等的白领人群中悄然风靡开来。健身俱乐部、酒吧、各种时尚PARTY上随处可见它炫目迷人、热力四射的身影。它的热情蔓延到城市的每个角落，吸引越来越多的人来参与，让你真切感受到激情与狂野，并为之疯狂。在北京人气最旺的两个SALSA俱乐部――位于朝阳公园南门的Latinos和工体北路的Caribe，每夜都会有无数的SALSA爱好者们聚集在这里，舞动着自己的魅力，京城著名的火凤凰（PhoenixDance）SALSA舞蹈队的俊男靓女们更是经常被邀请到这里作精彩表演，这是一家久负盛名的舞蹈培训基地，拥有众多资深的中外籍教练执教（如MAMBO　JACK和真真老师），培养出了许多舞艺高超的学生（登录这里可以查询到他们的信息www.phoenix-dance.com）。

为期4天的中国区预选赛中，将包括预赛和决赛，其间将会穿插特邀的国际顶级SALSA艺术家执教的集训强化课程，每天晚上还会在北京著名的两大拉丁俱乐部（Latinos和卡利宾）举办大型的狂欢舞会，在热烈的南美风情音乐中，与来自全国各地乃至世界的SALSA高手过招。 这样大规模的“舞”林盛会可谓是不“跳”不相识。本次赛事不仅为国内SALSA爱好者提供了一个展示自己的平台及与世界级选手交流切磋的绝好机会，更是打造了一条广泛传播SALSA文化，把中国SALSA引领向世界的通途纽带。

If you only think of nachos, you definitely should walk out your office or your home to join us for the South American rhythm and passion. As a form of Latin dance, SALSA is no longer a stranger. It was born in Cuba, and has absorbed different styles from Latin Dance as well as the spirit from African and Caribbean dance. They have all placed great influence in the forming and development of SALSA. SALSA dance has spread globally in a shocking speed. More over it has become the most popular social dance. Its popularity, elegance, and passion have all become the desired exercise at Hollywood. The dance is catchy, sexy, flirty and fun. It is also the killer weapon of keeping a golden body shape for Latin girls and now celebrities.

The magic of SALSA has now come to China and affected most upper class people in Beijing, ShangHai and ShengZhen. You can see Salsories in fitness centers, clubs and all kinds of parties. Its passion attracts so many people that has them head over heals. Latinos and Salsa Caribe are two of the most popular salsa clubs in Beijing. They each located in south gate of ChaoYang Park and 4 GongTi North Rd. Every night there are hundreds of salsa lovers gathered together to enjoy the Latin rhythm. The Salsa lovers from the well-known Phoenix Dance Studio in Beijing have been invited over to perform many times. The Phoenix Dance Team has many world class instructors (e.g. Mambo Jack from New York and his partner Zhenzhen). The first China’s Qualifying Competition for the 2nd World Salsa Championships is taking place August 10th-13th. It is a celebration for all salsa lovers in China, as well as a spot light for salsa dancers internationally.

The competition will invited Albert Torres, one of the most successful salsa promoters in the world, to represent World Salsa Association and participate in this four day event. Unite Dance Production, supported by World Salsa Association, is the organizer of the championship. According to the marketing directors Sandy and Brandy, United Dance Productions has also invited the winners from the first World Salsa Championships, as well as many well established dancers from US, Europe, Australia, South Asia and more to perform live in Beijing! The champions from the China’s Qualifying Competition will receive a pre-paid trip to Las Vegas and the invitation from World Salsa Association delivered by Albert Torres to represent China and compete in the 2nd World Salsa Championship! The four-day celebration will not only include preliminary and final round competition, but also workshops taught by renowned international dancers. The after-parties will get everyone dance all night long till the sun rise!
